Damascus is the only place you should consider if you’re getting a tattoo in Maryland or anywhere in the surrounding area. Joe Dejoya has recently done two incredible pieces for me, but every artist in the shop is ridiculously talented, with a huge range of skill sets and styles among them. The shop itself is immaculately clean, excellently managed, and there’s an amazing sense of community. Everyone is friendly, and I love that the artists not only hype each other up, but hype each other’s clients as well. Honestly, I wish I could just keep getting tattoos so I’d have an excuse to come back and hang out with these guys.
I’ve been to Damascus Tattoo plenty of times, and every visit feels like being welcomed by family. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff truly care I have seen Rocky, Katie, and Elijah now and they all do wonderful work. Each tattoo I’ve gotten has been not only beautifully done but also a reflection of my vision, thanks to their expertise. The shop is impressively clean, which adds to the overall comfort and professionalism. You can tell that the artists take pride in their work and the environment they create. A special shout-out to Shioban and Rachel at the front desk—they’re always friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. I had Robby start my chest piece and I want him to continue my back shoulders and left arm to finish. The work incredible, but he made the process smooth and personal. Him and his staff were always easy to get a hold of, and his whole team were very talented. I can’t wait to come back again.

This plllllaaaacccceeee! A total gem of artistry! Every single artist here is out of this world! The atmosphere was amazing and loved being able to walk around and see what other artists were working on during my session. It’s pricey compared to other shops but honestly, you’re paying for a masterpiece that will last the rest of your life…literally. I will never go to another shop or another artist! Robby Latos did this piece and he ATE!!!!
