I’ve been a loyal customer of Guardian Fire Protection for years, using them across all three of my storefront businesses. Unfortunately, my recent experience was very unprofessional and left me extremely disappointed. During their most recent inspection, the technician came out to all three of my locations. At one of them, there was a deficiency with the fire extinguisher. When I asked the technician directly if everything was good before he left, he told me “yes.” Based on that assurance, I believed all was fine and didn’t think to comb through the email they later sent, which I assumed was simply confirmation and payment-related. Two weeks later, I received a call from Guardian saying service was needed and that they would also be sending me a quote. This is not acceptable. If there is a deficiency, I should be told immediately and clearly at the time of inspection, not weeks later. Fire protection is a serious matter, and miscommunication like this puts my staff, clients, and businesses at risk. Even if an email was sent, the technician’s direct communication with me was misleading and unprofessional. I expected honesty, transparency, and urgency, and instead I was left feeling blindsided and taken advantage of. For that reason, I can no longer trust Guardian Fire Protection with my businesses’ safety.

The techs arrived in a timely manner at the start of the appointment window. It was easy to get them oriented to the site and started doing the inspections. I was kept informed of any issues and the inspection/service issue results. My feedback and other information was listened to and acknowledged. An overall good service experience.
