Our goal at Han Mi Martial Arts is to train effective martial arts for self-defense and sport; teach in a clear and positive way; & create a friendly and welcoming community.
We teach self-defense and martial arts to adults, teens, and children from Damascus, Clarksburg, Ijamsville, Laytonsville, New Market, Mt Airy, Germantown, Urbana, and other parts of upper Montgomery and lower Frederick County, MD.

Been going here for a little over a year now, and I just can't get enough of martial arts! All the staff and teachers are really friendly and have no problem helping you with any questions or trouble with any techniques you're having. The students are also great as well! I've met a lot of great and friendly people in my time at Han Mi Martial Arts. Matt is a great teacher with a lot of experience in martial arts and explains every lesson clearly and concisely. For ages 4-7 all the kids had fun and were engaged. Helped my son pick up what was happening very quickly and we had a ton of fun! Teaches respect and discipline too
