I have been a patient of Dr Martinez since the early 90's and have always been treated with extremely well from Dr Martinez and his office staff. I have gone through 2 surgeries in my right eye and one surgery in my left eye. He saved my eyesight. Also Dr Martinez is one of the best surgeons, has so much empathy, kindness and professionalism. Thank you.
I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at this medical facility. During my initial visit, I experienced a lengthy wait of approximately three hours, followed by a brief consultation with the doctor, who prescribed eye drops and recommended a follow-up appointment with a specialist. Upon returning the second time, I waited for an additional 1-2 hours before being seen by the doctor, who informed me that I had excessive inflammation and inquired as to why this was not previously detected. The doctor prescribed additional eye drops and discharged me. Today, I encountered an issue during my scheduled check-up, as the receptionist insisted that a referral was necessary, despite my previous visits. I was not informed of this requirement when scheduling my appointment and did not have a referral. Like, why do i need a referral if im coming back to the same providers every time? If this was true, my second time, i didnt have a refferal . They should tell people this when theyre booking appointments! As a result, I have lost confidence in this facility and intend to seek medical attention at a less crowded facility that prioritizes patient care.
I hadn’t been to this practice in over a year but I remember the crowded waiting room. At this recent appointment I arrive several minutes late but was shocked at how packed the waiting room was. Literally Wall to wall people. I couldn’t find a seat. Given the amount of people waiting I asked someone at the front desk how long the wait. He said 2 HRS. Next available appointment was in 4 months. I left and will find another practice.
Without a doubt the best medical experience of my life . I anticipated a positive experience but had no idea that the level of professionalism and top notch expertise would be displayed like it was . No doubt Dr Martinez sets the tone with each and every employee . The sincere personal care was unlike any I had ever experienced . The procedure ( pterygium removal ) Dr Martinez performed on me had to be the best outcome I could have ever hoped for . No wonder his reputation is world renowned as one of the best in performing this particular surgery . How many doctors would then personally follow up with a 20 minute phone call on the evening after the surgery to check on my condition ? This surgery can leave one with a very painful recovery and I have had not even a minimal amount of pain post surgery . Dr Marinez is a truly gifted surgeon but every bit as compassionate as he is skilled . I only wish I didn’t live over a thousand miles from his office so that I could see him on a full time basis for all my eye care needs . David Sparks
I have been trying to get in touch for 3 days now. It’s honestly so shocking how hard it is just to get someone on the phone! Once you do, the girls are so rude and short?! I hear different information from EVERYONE. And the service is terrible and I get hung up on. I now have an appointment I made for my non-English speaking person and I can’t even get a 5 second call in to reschedule!!! I’m really hoping you guys do batter with this. It’s an absolute nightmare.
