My children and I have been visiting Visionary Eye Doctors since 2014 and we come back every year for our eye exams. Lorena Rivero and Babak Hosseini are both wonderful—very professional, kind, and thorough. We always have a great experience. Highly recommend!
3000+ reviews should be a red flag in itself. Was here a couple years ago and never plan to go back. This practice treats patients like cattle to be herded through different stations. My appointment took hours and though I appreciated the thoroughness, most of the diagnostics that were done seemed to be more for their records and benefit of billing than to actually help me because I got very little explanation. I didn’t feel I received any personalized care here. Even when I finally saw the doctor, I was talked to like someone who has x and y and given a disorganized sheet of paper with a bunch of recommendations crammed into it. My previous ophthalmology appointment before moving to the state was just me and my ophthalmologist, who took the time and effort to learn about my situation and discuss the ins and outs of the options that could work for me
Great office. Superb doctors and fine tech staff. I recommend them highly. (Especially Dr. Medina). It’s a very busy office, but they move folks along very nicely. It’s worth waiting for quality.
If I could give a 0 I would! STAY away from this overly packed place. First is I was surprised at how many young people work here I counted a good 15 people just with a tablet walking around. You would think a lot of employees would get the work done faster nope came in at 2:00 didn’t get seen until 2:50 that is with me addressing when was my son was going to be seen. I’ve worked in specialist office so I know what it is to respect people’s time and acknowledge as well peoples time. We gotten taken back for just question and exam that took 5 min and sat back outside to wait for the doctor that looked lost and did not know what he was doing or who he was seeing. As we are waiting I get a call from work again took time from my work day to bring my son so I needed to address an emergency a rude guy walks by with glasses a bun and mustache and say look at the sign no phones so I looked at him like ok we are in the waiting area and I was not the only person on the phone maybe 10 min later he passed by and guess what phone in the hand as well. Lead by example if that is the case no phones allowed. It is now 4:08 still waiting to be seen all these people do is walk by and smile instead of asking or updating anyone. We asked 3 different people and all they could tell us is the doctor will be with you. The last person said I don’t work with that doctor I said I don’t care you work in the same facility take accountability! So go by all these reviews and believe when we tell you this is not worth you day and time! So unprofessional! Update we got seen at 4:35 doctor didn’t even apologize for the wait and did a 7 min check. Yeah no thanks won’t be returning and I suggest talk don’t even begin going there.
It's been about four years since Dr. Martinez vanquished those sneaky Pterygiums. I've been fortunate to have some terrific eye docs over the years, but nobody better than Visionary Eye -- I'm convinced Martinez is one of the most experienced and best at removing those. And appreciate my long-term care with Dr. Alexa Pereira who is amazing. The practice is always busy, but well run and friendly.
